Honey has many virtues: a symbol of light and sun, an emblem of poetry and science, and used since ancient times as a remedy for dry skin and to help heal wounds. This nectar is used in L'Aquarelle Sennelier not only as a preservative but as an additive giving imcomparable brilliance and smoothness to the paint. Always striving for excellence. Sennelier has reworked it's watercolour formula by increasing the amount of honey in the paint to reinforce the longevity of the colours, their radiance and luminosity.

Acrylics
Heavy body paints by Golden are known for their exceptionally smooth, buttery consistency. The heavy body palette includes the largest assortment of unique pure pigments in a 100% acrylic emulsion available to professional artists. Oil Paint
Sennlier gathers only the finest natural and organic pigments from around the world. The pigments are ground very slowly with extreme care to an extra fine consistency. They are then combined in maximum concentration with archival safflower oil to yield the highest possible tinting strength and lustrous satin finish. The sensuous pigments have a unique buttery texture, a consistency developed for the expressive style of the impressionist painters who frequented the Sennelier store in the 19th century. Senneliers meticulous work, his vast knowledge of pigment, his talent as a colourist and collaboration with Cezanne and other masters gave rise to a pallet of colours that quickly became the standard of quality. Gouache
This range of colours is manufactured using Sennelier artist quality pigment and superior quality lateral gums. These Artist's quality Gouache colours have exceptional covering power and give deep and opaque colour. All gouache colours are mixable and have good lightfastness with the exception of a few colours necessary for illustration. Colours can be applied with a brush or airbrush. Water-soluble, they can be mixed with watercolours and inks to obtain other combinations of opacity or transparency.
