I can often be found out and about painting landscapes and I also enjoy painting Still Lifes. I graduated with a BA Hons in Fine Art and went on to do an MA in Conservation of Historic Objects, graduating in 2003. My first one man show was held in 2022, and I am currently working on a project that focuses on the beauty of Peak District farms.

Capturing a sense of place is important to me as a painter, I like the viewer to get a feel for what is was like to be there- the light, the weather, the season and so on. Sometimes a painting can be done in a morning and at other times it may take a few days.
